March 11th, 2017 -What an interesting show. I know because I recorded it earlier this week with a couple of peachy guests. Anthony Thomas, PHD fills in some more blanks on vitamin K. For example, why we need it for more than helping guide calcium into bones instead of arteries (as though that isn't enough). We also talk about why so many folks are not getting enough vitamin K and why we might want to supplement with 3 different types of it.
Then psychiatrist Hyla Cass, MD and I talk about how she helps people with mental health issues and addictions by using natural supplements instead of psych drugs. She wrote a fascinating article in Huffington Post about how the perpetrators of grizzly crimes that we hear about in the news are often driven to bizarre acts by the side effects of psych medications. I asked her about phone appointments and she said it would save money to just read the books which will tell you which of her supplements may help.
