Today, we will learn how to “Max Your Immunity: How to Maximize Your Immune System When You Need It Most.” That is a book by my guest Pamela W. Smith, MD, MPH, MS. She spent the first twenty years of her practice as an emergency room physician with the Detroit Medical Center in a level 1 trauma center. Dr. Smith is a diplomate of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Physicians and is an authority on wellness and functional medicine. She is the founder of the Fellowship in Anti-Aging, Regenerative, and Functional Medicine. Dr. Smith has been featured on CCN and is the best-selling author of ten books. In October, we discussed her recent “What You Must Know About Women's Hormones - Second Edition. Your Guide to Natural Hormone Treatments for PMS, Menopause, Osteoporosis, PCOS, and More.” This link is to her interview on HBN about hormones. She also wrote: “What You Must Know About Memory Loss and How You Can Stop It: A Guide to Proven Techniques and Supplements to Maintain, Strengthen, or Regain Memory.” In January she will be back to talk about her book on weight loss.
