May 16th, 2015 Enzymes! It has been a long time since we talked about their important role in the body. We focused on the digestive variety with David Barton, an educator with my favorite enzyme company, Enzymedica, makers of fabulous Digest Gold. (As I've mentioned before, we are not really just what we eat...we also must break food down and absorb it.) We also covered enzymes such as Digest Spectrum for food sensitivities. Later in the show we talked with HBN's foreign correspondent, Christine about food and supplements in Europe. Then Andy Hopkins and I introduced a most impressive friendly bacterium, ME3, that increases the master antioxidant, glutathione. ME3 comes in 3 combinations: Immune & Vitality or Detox & Liver or Cardio Wellness.
